TOT on Empowering Adolescent Girls with Disabilities: Leadership, Life Skills and Career Development of Sudurpaschim Province

Access Planet Organization, in partnership with Girls Opportunity Alliance, successfully conducted a five-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on-
Empowering Adolescent Girls with Disabilities: Leadership, Life Skills and Career Development in Dhangadhi, Sudurpaschim Province from 24th April to 28th April 2026. The training had the participation of 28 girls with disabilities.
Main Objectives:
- To develop leadership and life skills among adolescent girls with disabilities
- To enhance awareness on rights, gender equality, and inclusion
- To build career readiness and future planning skills
- To strengthen advocacy and communication skills
Five Days TOT Training on Empowering Leadership, Life Skills and Career Development of Adolescent Girls with Disabilities of Sudurpaschim Province was successful in enhancing leadership capacity, life skills, and career readiness among adolescent girls with disabilities, enabling them to become confident individuals and future leaders in their communities.
Outputs:
- 28 adolescent girls with disabilities gained knowledge and practical skills in leadership, life skills, and career development
- Participants developed confidence, communication skills, and future plans
- Increased awareness on rights, advocacy, and inclusion
