Share Market Orientation Training for Persons with Disabilities

Access Planet Organization conducted a two-day share market orientation training in Dhangadi, Nepal, from February 13th to 14th, 2024. Recognizing the increasing accessibility of online share trading platforms in Nepal, the organization identified a gap in accessible resources and training materials for individuals with visual impairments and other disabilities. Recognizing this gap, Access Planet, with the support of the Global Fund for Women, designed this training program specifically for individuals with disabilities, incorporating accessible software and techniques. There was participation of25 people with disabilities in this training.

Access Planet Organization in support of Leading from the South (LFS)- Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) organized an event on- “Issue Identification Workshop on Access to Justice For Girls and Women with Disabilities in Karnali Province”. Access Planet Organization in the funding support of Women Fund Asia (WFA) Kaagapay conducted half-day interaction program on “Disability Friendly Local Mechanism and Promotion of Access to Justice for Girls and Women with Disabilities at the Local Level.” Sixty-five participants including the local level people’s representatives, the government officials working at the local level and the organizations of .persons with disabilities from two local government including Dhangadhi submetropolitan city and Godawari Municipality were present in the interaction program

The training is conducted as the part of grassroots campaigning by TOT Participants of training of trainers (TOT) on feminism, national and international laws and policies, and human rights mechanism that took place from 18th to 20th May 2023.
