The program was specifically conducted to empower youth with disabilities to plan their careers effectively by enhancing their self-awareness, employability skills, and access to educational and leadership opportunities. A total of 29 youths with disabilities participated in the program.

The two-day  training began with an organizational overview and session orientation by Program Officer Raksha Badal. The first session on “Personal Career Action Map” by Laxmi Nepal guided participants in setting career goals and identifying barriers and strategies. Rajan Prasad Kaphle, Principal of SS College, led the next session on academic options after SEE, encouraging informed decision-making based on individual interests and strengths. A panel of successful persons with disabilities shared their journeys and practical advice in an inspiring discussion.

On the second day, trainer Bishal Dahal facilitated a session on employability and soft skills, emphasizing communication, leadership, and confidence building. The fifth session, co-facilitated by Ranjita Shrestha and Raksha Badal, focused on CV writing through a hands-on group activity. The training concluded with a session on international study and leadership opportunities, led by Laxmi Nepal.

The training was conducted in a hybrid format, with 10 youth with disabilities joining virtually from across the country and 21 attending in person.
