Access Planet Organization in support of the Leading from the South (LFS)- Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) organized the training of trainers (TOT) on the topic- “One Day Legal Literacy Training for Women with Disabilities” which was taken as a part of grassroots campaigning by TOT participants of Pokhara, Gandaki Province for the women in their local areas.

Access Planet Organization in the funding support of Women Fund Asia (WFA) Kaagapay conducted half-day interaction program on “Disability Friendly Local Mechanism and Promotion of Access to Justice for Girls and Women with Disabilities at the Local Level.” Sixty-five participants including the local level people’s representatives, the government officials working at the local level and the organizations of .persons with disabilities from two local government including Dhangadhi submetropolitan city and Godawari Municipality were present in the interaction program

Leadership And Advocacy Training for Young Women with Disabilities (Bagmati Province)

Access Planet Organization organized three days “Leadership and advocacy training for the young women with disabilities of Bagmati Province from 7th April to 9th April 2023. This training majorly aimed to empower the young women with disabilities with the leadership and advocacy skills and also to sensitize them about their rights that will inbuilt their confidence providing resilience to fight for the rights and justice of women with disabilities.

Refresher Training on Right Relating to Education and Technology for Advocacy Committees

Access Planet Organization in support of the Disability Rights Fund (DRF) organized the refresher training on the topic- “Refresher Training on Rights Relating to Education and Technology for Advocacy Committees.” The training was conducted to update the advocacy committees on the content as the follow-up of comprehensive training on the given topic last year. 17 advocacy committee members from Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, and Kathmandu Valley were present at the training as participants. And, different facilitators working in education and technology facilitated various sessions.
