Job title: Program Officer
No of vacancies: 1
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Job location: Balkot, Bhaktapur, with field visit outside the valley

Required Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelors in Gender Studies, sociology, development studies, or related field with a minimum of three years of experience in the development sector
- Experience in managing development cooperation projects; including expertise in monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and capacity building of women
- Proven understanding of gender, inclusion, and disability issues
- Experience in working directly with stakeholders, particularly at the local level
- Excellent communications skills in English and Nepali
- Ability to stay in the field at least 30% of the time
- Experience in standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project reports as required.
- Maintain communication with partners, stakeholders, and the public.
- Develop new project proposals and explore the latest resources for supporting the organization’s objectives.
- Prepare the advocacy documents and coordinate with stakeholders for advocacy interactions/meetings/delegations
- Suggest the policy and programs as are required to run the projects appropriately and efficiently.
- Other duties assigned by the board as necessary.

Required Experiences and Qualifications
- Education level: Plus-two in any discipline
- Experience required: At least one year of experience in the development project.
- Understanding of gender, inclusion, and disability issues
- Ability to stay in the field at least 40% of the time
Key responsibilities:
- Provide required administrative support to team members
- Arrange logistic support to the team members for daily operations and other events
- Carry out field visits on a routine basis to observe and report on work progress and take proper action and update as required;
- Any other tasks as assigned by the program coordinator.

- Job location: Balkot, Bhaktapur, with field visit outside the valley

Required Qualifications and Experiences:
- Education level: Bachelors in the finance-related subject.
- Experience: Two years experience in administration and finance management
- Computer proficiency: Able to use basic MS word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting software
- Demonstrated interest in the field of development.
Experience required: More than or equals one year.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the admin and financial activities of the organization
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Finance Statements required for donor/funding agencies, ensuring whether the expenditure is in line with the approved budget breakdown and accounting principles
- Ensure the financial transactions, payments, and procurements held as per organization policy and government regulations
- Ensure annual planning, periodic review, and timely reporting of the projects and organizational activities
- Other tasks as assigned with regards to financial reporting, verifications, and accounting.
