Access Planet Organization organized one-day orientation Program on “Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights to deaf and hard of hearing girls” at Shree Bahira Balmandir School, Bhairahawa (Lumbini Province). Twenty four Deaf and hard hearing girls from the school participated in the orientation program. The orientation program was conducted with the funding support of Women’s Fund Asia.

Access Planet conducted advocacy with the representatives of Training Development Department of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) of Sanothimi, Bhaktapur with the objectives to advocate about the need of inclusion of Women with disabilities in Training and Capacity building programs organized by CTEVT and to take the commitments from the respective authorities for the inclusive opportunities for young women with disabilities in acquiring skill based training provided by CTEVT.

Computer Class in Guru Jajur Secondary School(Dang, Lumbini Province)
Access Planet Organization has conducted 3 months computer training from July, 2022 to visually impaired students who are studying in Shree Guru Jajur Secondary School of Rakshachaur of Dang in the partnership with Global Fund for Women and the school administration. The main objective of this program was to make it accessible for blind children specially girls to get inclusive education by providing them technological capacity development.

Delegation Visit to municipality office of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City for Policy Review of Municipal Education Act from the perspective of girls and women with disabilities.
Access Planet organization organized a delegation visit program with the representatives of the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city with the proposed suggestion for the review of the Municipal Education Act of this sub-metropolitan city. This program was aimed to promote access to inclusive and quality education for girls and women with disabilities in accordance with national and international laws by revising the Education Act of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.

Techno-based Pre-employment Skill Development Training for Youths with Disabilities
Access Planet Organization under the support of Ministry of Social Development, Bagmati Province and Redcross Nepal, Balkot sub-branch, organized a 14 days ‘Technology Based Pre-employment Skill Development Training for Youths with Disabilities’ at Balkot, Bhaktapur, Bagmati Province. Eleven youths with disabilities from the province got a chance to participate and acquire various technological and pre-employment skills.

Comprehensive Training on Right Relating to Education and Advocacy Skills
Access Planet Organization in support of Disability Rights Fund (DRF) has conducted a three days ‘Comprehensive Training on Right Relating to Education and Advocacy Skills’ on 3rd-5th May 2022. . Six women from Dhangadi sub metropolitan city, Far-western Province, six women from Nepalgunj sub metropolitan city of Lumbini province and six women from Kathmandu valley of Bagmati province participated in the training.

Review and Follow-up Workshop with Training of Trainers Participants on Local Organizing; Far Western Province
On the 11th of May, 2022, in the virtual presence of board members, staff, and participants of the Training of Trainers on Leadership and Legal Literacy, Access Planet Organization successfully completed the Review and Follow-up Workshop on local organizing in support of Purposeful, the Girls Fund. This review and follow-up session was held to evaluate and share the lessons learned from the Training of Trainers participants' training. The program primarily focused on discussions with participants on their experiences, difficulties, learning, and way forward.
