Access Planet Organization in funding support of Frida and Tewa under the Founders Fund Grant organized two days “Leadership training for girls and young women with disabilities on the 1st and 2nd September 2023. 12 persons with visual impairment, 9 persons with hearing impairment, 1 person with intellectual disabilities, and 1 person with physical disability participated in this training.

Computer Based Skill Development Training for Youth with Disabilities

Access Planet Organization held 15 days Computer Based Skill Development Training for Youth with Disabilities for the youth with disabilities from 28th April to 15th May 2023 in support of Bagmati support and Red cross Society Balkot Branch. The primary goal of the training is to help people with disabilities improve their computer-based employment skills. There were total 10 participants, including temporary and permanent resident of Kathmandu.

Access Planet Organization has conducted 3 months computer training from July, 2022 to visually impaired students who are studying in Shree Guru Jajur Secondary School of Rakshachaur of Dang in the partnership with Global Fund for Women and the school administration. The main objective of this program was to make it accessible for blind children specially girls to get inclusive education by providing them technological capacity development.

Computer Refresher Training for Blind and Visually Impaired Women

Access Planet has successfully completed computer refresher training for blind and visually impaired women conducted from 4th to 12th May 2022. 14 blind and visually impaired women from across the country participated in the training. The 7 days training was conducted virtually in the funding support of Global Fund for Women. The main aim of the training was to enhance the quality education and employment opportunities for young women with visual impairments.
