Computer Refresher Training for Blind and Visually Impaired Women
Access Planet has successfully completed computer refresher training for blind and visually impaired women conducted from 4th to 12th May 2022. 14 blind and visually impaired women from across the country participated in the training. The 7 days training was conducted virtually in the funding support of Global Fund for Women. The main aim of the training was to enhance the quality education and employment opportunities for young women with visual impairments.

Comprehensive Training on Right Relating to Education and Advocacy Skills
Access Planet Organization in support of Disability Rights Fund (DRF) has conducted a three days ‘Comprehensive Training on Right Relating to Education and Advocacy Skills’ on 3rd-5th May 2022. . Six women from Dhangadi sub metropolitan city, Far-western Province, six women from Nepalgunj sub metropolitan city of Lumbini province and six women from Kathmandu valley of Bagmati province participated in the training.

Review and Follow-up Workshop with Training of Trainers Participants on Local Organizing; Far Western Province
On the 11th of May, 2022, in the virtual presence of board members, staff, and participants of the Training of Trainers on Leadership and Legal Literacy, Access Planet Organization successfully completed the Review and Follow-up Workshop on local organizing in support of Purposeful, the Girls Fund. This review and follow-up session was held to evaluate and share the lessons learned from the Training of Trainers participants' training. The program primarily focused on discussions with participants on their experiences, difficulties, learning, and way forward.

Review and Follow-up Workshop with Training of Trainers Participants on Local Organizing; Karnali Province
Access Planet Organization in support of Frida successfully completed Review and Follow-up Workshop on local organizing on 11th of May, 2022 virtually in the presence of board members, staff and participants of Training of Trainers on Leadership and Legal Literacy. The program mainly focused on the discussion with the participants regarding their experiences, challenges, learning and way forward. Through this workshop, access planet organization aimed to support and build up capacity of women with disabilities of grassroots level and strengthen movement of young women with disabilities of Surkhet and Dailekh districts of Karnali Province.

Leadership Training for Young Women with Disabilities at Dailekh, Karnali Province
On April 21, 2022 (8th Baishakh) , Access Planet Organization hosted a one-day Leadership Training for Young Women with Disabilities in Dailekh, Karnali Province . With the help of FRIDA, the Young Feminist Fund, the training was held with the purpose of empowering young women with disabilities and expanding local advocacy for women's and disability rights. Members who have previously participated in the Training of Trainers facilitated this workshop.

Access Planet Organization held a one-day Leadership Training for Young Women with Disabilities in Surkhet, Karnali Province, on April 19, 2022 (6th Baishakh). The training was held with the cooperation of FRIDA, Young Feminist Fund, with the goal of empowering young women with disabilities and increasing local advocacy around women's and disability rights. This program was facilitated by members who had previously participated in the Training of Trainers.
